An irrational fear of an object, situation, or living thing is referred to as a phobia. While fear is a natural reaction to danger, phobias are often triggered by something unlikely to cause real harm.Phobias cause significant distress and frequently result in the person avoiding the source of their fear.   1. Arachibutyrophobia

Arachibutyrophobia varies in severity from individual to individual.     Arachibutyrophobiaa can develop as a result of a general phobia of sticky things or a fear of choking. It could also be the result of a traumatic experience with peanut butter, such as choking on it or being allergic to it.

  2. Nomophobia

    The fear of being out of the mobile phone is known as nomophobia. Nomophobic people are extremely anxious about not having their phone with them, having a low battery, or having their phone go out of service. People with nomophobia become panicked and experience extreme anxiety symptoms when they are unable to use their phone, regardless of the circumstances.

    This phobia is frequently caused by a person’s addiction to their cell phone. People who have this phobia may check their phone obsessively throughout the day. It appears to be a fairly common occurrence. Anxiety about not having or being able to use a cell phone ranged from 9 to 77 percent in recent surveys of various populations. The organization in Italy has proposed including nomophobia in the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V).

  3. Arithmophobia

    Many people hate math class as a child, but those who suffer from arithmophobia have a deep concern of numbers. People who have this fear typically experience anxiety when doing math or handling with digits in general, rather than fear of actually seeing the number symbols. Numerophobia is another term for the fear of numbers. Arithmophobia can have a significant impact on a person’s life because it is difficult to perform many tasks or work without dealing with numbers.

  4. Plutophobia

    While many people wish they had more money, plutophobia is a fear of money or riches. People who have plutophobia may be afraid of becoming wealthy or of wealthy people. They generally despise money and the prospect of having to deal with it.

    People who have this fear may sabotage their careers in order to avoid making more money or becoming wealthy. Fear of becoming wealthy may stem from apprehension about the responsibilities or pressures that come with it, or from apprehension about being robbed.

  5. Xanthophobia

    Xanthophobia is a sensitivity to the color yellow. People who suffer from xanthophobia are normally scared of something yellow, such as school buses and flowers. Yellow can be avoided at all costs by people who have xanthophobia. Since yellow objects are everywhere, this phobia continues to mess with daily life.
